Personal Data: is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual. Even in case of an institute, an individual would be termed as single point of contact

You/ User/ Your: means the individual accessing or using the Service on behalf of individual or a company or institute.

Product/ Service: refers to the Mobile app/ Application/ App.

Features: refers to the Mobile App/ Application/ App features like scan QR code, creating other lecture-oriented aspects for day-to-day operations.

Service Provider: means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the independent developer. It refers to third-party companies or individual employed by or associated by independent developer to facilitate this Mobile app/ Application/ App, to provide the Service on behalf of the independent developer, to perform services related to the Service or to assist independent developer to analysing how the Service is used.

Usage Data: refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the user of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself. For example; scanned text generated by the user OR number of scans done the user as per server interaction.

• Camera Access: Used only for scanning QR codes. (for App operations)

• Timestamp: Records the time/date of QR code scans. (for App operations)

Usage Data:

• Usage Data: Data generated by App during its usage by You (Data Analysis)

 

How We Collect Information

While using Our Service, We may ask You to provide Us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify You. The Data as mentioned below is collected directly through the digital media into our Database Servers

• Directly from You: When you create an account, update your profile, or other Product/ Service related Data or Features while using the Product/ Service.

• Automatically: Timestamp data is generated during QR scans or Data generated by Application during its Usage by You. This includes all Product/ Service or Features

 

Purpose of Data Collection

We collect this Data for purpose as listed and explained below:

• To create and manage your account: to manage Your registration as a User of the Service. The Personal Data You provide can give You access to different functionalities of the Service that are available to You as a registered user.

• For the performance of a contract: the development, compliance and undertaking of the purchase contract for the Product, You have purchased or of any other contract with Us through the Service.

• To contact You: To contact You by email, telephone calls, SMS, or other equivalent forms of electronic communication, such as a mobile application's push notifications regarding updates or informative communications related to the functionalities, products or contracted services, including the security updates, when necessary or reasonable for their implementation.

• Camera Data: Camera is purely used to scan and convert QRCode to operational data. Camera can NOT/ does NOT take any pictures or stored any pictures.

• Your Optional Data: may be used for analyzing the usage into demographics of our products and services to enhance the Product/ Service as provided.

• To provide: You with news, special offers and general information about other goods, services and events which we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or enquired about unless You have opted not to receive such information.

• To manage Your requests: To attend and manage Your requests to Us.

• For business transfers: We may use Your information to evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which Personal Data held by Us about our Service users is among the assets transferred.

• For other purposes: We may use Your information for other purposes, such as data analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns and to evaluate and improve our Service, products, services, marketing and your experience.

Data Care

Data Storage & Security

Your Personal and Optional Data is stored on a secured 3rd party database servers (Cloud based Supabase Servers located in USA) with strict encryptions. These Data are stored with high Row Level Security access which permits only authorized person to access your data. Authorized person in this case would be Independent Developer ONLY. You can refer to the Privacy Policy and Security details of our Database here - https://supabase.com/privacy & https://supabase.com/.well-known/security.txt. Your Password, is strictly #hashed out and can NOT be viewed even by the Independent Developer. The password will remain unknown to all apart from You.

The security of Your Personal Data is important to Us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect Your Personal Data, We cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Data Retention

We will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

We will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of Our Service, or We are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

As mentioned earlier, Your Data is stored securely for the functioning of the Application. We never sell/ share Your Data for revenue generation. Exceptions: Data may be disclosed if mandated by Indian authorities under applicable laws.

Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at the operating offices (database server location) and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. It means that this information may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of Your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from Your jurisdiction.

Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by Your submission of such information represents Your agreement to that transfer.

Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information provided by You earlier. You can do the same by contacting the Support.

Deletion: You can delete Your account with us at any point in time. You can do the same on Request deletion of account/ data by contacting the Support. However, We may need to retain basic information of Your account for legal purpose and history record. Your email ID, Name, Mobile no will be retained for future reference. All other details pertaining to Your account shall be deleted further to implementation of this request.

Business Transactions

If We are involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, Your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before Your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.

Camera Access

The Application uses your device’s camera exclusively to scan QR codes. No images/ videos are taken or stored or shared at Our end. The functionality of the Application demands and depends on Camera access. We do not access any file or folder from your device’s storage.

 

Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us. If We become aware that We have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, We take steps to remove that information from Our servers.

If We need to rely on consent as a legal basis for processing Your information and Your country requires consent from a parent, We may require Your parent's consent before We collect and use that information.
