Well is it me? OR do you feel the same - that education has become more of routine than of learning? (always welcome you viewpoint in comments below) - i do necessary feel that today's education has changed and become more of routine - rather than learning something. You meet any student across all age and grades - near about everyone carries this feeling of just following a educational routine... is it True?

Well my opinion says - educational institutes are literally pushing their part to impart subjects, topics, chapters inside dumb stuck brains of their students. Whereas they (student's) are wondering as to Why? Gone are the days when we used to take education as the only method of surviving through our lives - even though the golden underlying meaning of the statement remains the same - the percolation of the same among students' has changed. Now Students' want to know:

WHAT are they learning?

WHY are they learning?

WHERE is this applicable?

HOW this will help them in their future?

So for the impending generation these questions which can remain UNANSWERED - WILL have inverse reaction towards their pursuing course, institutes and educational system as a whole.

Now comes the tricky part - what can one do about it? Well simple Theory based answer would be, you need to raise a flag and make course correction to get things streamlined - But it bounces back with a pessimist solution - Finally the students' take this feeling, "Ignore it, get done with your education, move on, just a matter of couple of years more..."
